How to Set Up the Email Channel

BrokerBot can receive and respond to emails through a dedicated @brokerbot.email address. When enabled, inbound emails to this address are routed directly to your team's AI assistant.

Who Can Enable It?

Only Admins and Team Leaders can enable or disable the Email Channel. Other members will see the toggle, but it will be disabled.

Setting Up

  1. Navigate to Settings → Assistant → Email.

  2. In the Inbound email card, toggle the Email Channel On.

  3. BrokerBot will assign a unique email address (ending in @brokerbot.email).

  4. Use the Copy button next to the address and share it with your team, give it to leads, or use it in workflows.

Note: If your team doesn't have an assistant set up yet, you'll see a prompt to finish onboarding before you can enable email.

How It Works

  • When someone sends an email to your BrokerBot email address — directly, forwarded, or CC'd on a thread — the message is routed to the AI assistant.

  • BrokerBot processes the email and replies are threaded back to the sender, using the same knowledge and tools available in chat.

Important Notes

  • Disabling the Email Channel clears the current address — inbound mail to the previous address will no longer reach your assistant. If you re-enable it, a new address is assigned — the old one cannot be recovered.

  • This is separate from your personal Gmail or Outlook integration — the Email Channel is a dedicated inbox for your BrokerBot assistant.
