What This Means for You

BrokerBot is designed to work with text-based content and supported document formats (like PDFs, Word documents, and text files). It cannot watch, listen to, or extract information from:

  • Video files (e.g., .mp4, .mov, .avi)

  • YouTube links or videos from other streaming platforms

What you CAN Do:

  • Upload supported document types (PDFs, Word docs, etc.) to the knowledge base.

  • Create and upload text-based summaries, transcripts, or step-by-step guides based on video content.

  • Curate a knowledge base using written documentation to ensure BrokerBot provides accurate answers.

What you CANNOT Do:

  • Upload a video file and expect BrokerBot to learn from it.

  • Provide a YouTube link as a knowledge source for BrokerBot to analyze.

  • Train BrokerBot directly using any form of video material.

Best Practice: Convert Video to Text If you have important information in a video format, the best approach is to convert it into a written document.

  • Create a Transcript: Write out the spoken content of the video.

  • Summarize Key Points: Create a document that lists the essential takeaways and action items.

  • Write a How-To Guide: Turn a video tutorial into a step-by-step written guide.

By uploading this text-based content, you ensure the information is available for BrokerBot to use when assisting your team.

If you have questions about supported file types or need help structuring your knowledge base, please contact our support team.
