Can I Upload Videos to BrokerBot?

Yes. BrokerBot can process video uploads and use the content in chat and the Knowledge Center.

BrokerBot watches, listens to, and learns from your video like a human would. Once processing is complete, you can ask for a summary, search for topics, or ask questions about what was shown or said.

Ways to Add a Video

  • Upload a video file directly in chat.

  • Upload a video file to the Knowledge Center.

  • Import a YouTube or Vimeo video into the Knowledge Center.

  • Import a direct video-file URL, such as a link ending in .mp4 or .mov.

  • Import a YouTube channel or playlist for ongoing video synchronization.

Who Can Access the Knowledge Center?

The Knowledge Center is available to team members, but access to individual folders and files is permission-based:

  • Owners, partners, and team leaders can view their team’s private Knowledge Center folders and can upload or import content, create folders, and manage content where they have edit access.

  • Other team members can view internal content and any private content shared with their team. They cannot upload files, import videos from URLs, create folders, or add content to the Knowledge Center.

  • Users with individual permissions can view the specific content shared with them. Individual permissions are view-only, so these users cannot upload files, import videos from URLs, create folders, or add content.

If you cannot see a folder or file, ask an owner, partner, or team leader to confirm its visibility and permissions.

Supported Video Formats

  • .mp4

  • .webm

  • .mov

  • .m4v

  • .ogv

Limits and Availability

Chat uploads are limited to 30 MB per file and 100 files per message. Knowledge Center URL imports must point to an accessible video source. A normal web page that contains an embedded video is not the same as a direct video-file URL.

Private, age-restricted, removed, or region-restricted videos may not be available for automatic import.
